John,
One of the biggest threats to our democracy has been foreign interference.
That’s why, for years, the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force has been a critical part of stopping foreign adversaries from spreading election disinformation.
Now, on her very first day in office, new Attorney General Pam Bondi disbanded the task force.
Let’s be clear: This decision not only could make our elections less safe, but could give our adversaries the upper hand if they choose to meddle in our democracy.
John, the stakes just got even higher. Now more than ever, we need to fight back against the lies and disinformation that will inevitably flood this election.
I need your help to ensure we have the resources to protect Minnesota voters from election disinformation. Be one of the 100 people to join us. Can I count on you to chip in $10 or more right now?

The Foreign Influence Task Force was on the front lines of protecting our democracy, tracking foreign attempts to mislead voters and sow chaos in our elections. Without it, bad actors—from Russia to China—will have fewer obstacles to spreading disinformation designed to confuse voters and undermine faith in our election system.
We know what’s coming: false claims, bad-faith attacks, and disinformation designed to suppress turnout and cast doubt on legitimate election results.
We can’t afford to let our guard down. If we don’t step up now, foreign and domestic bad actors will fill the gap left by this reckless decision.
Let’s send a clear message: We will not allow our democracy to be undermined. Will you join me in fighting back?
Thank you for standing with me.
— Steve
