Last year, Catholic Charities agencies served 16 million people, both responding to urgent needs and addressing the root causes of poverty. Last year, local agencies:

* Provided more than

**28 million meals**????to individuals and families facing hunger;

* Gave

**2.8 million nights of emergency shelter**, ensuring safety for those with nowhere else to turn; and

* Responded to

**52 disasters** across the U.S. and its territories, offering critical relief and support.

These numbers represent real lives that were changed - people who found hope.
