The term, “Starving the Beast” originated from a Reagan administration staffer, who was promoting a more conservative approach to taxes and the national budget. 
 
I’m hoping that the creation of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) really helps to cut down all the waste in our government bureaucracies.
