![]() John, it’s Emilia. When I read this headline I knew I needed to reach out to you: “Republicans’ emerging tax package would put billionaires over families.” We are only a month in, but the Republican Majority in Congress has wasted no time showing us exactly who they are – and exactly who they answer to. Slashing programs working families rely on to give a tax cut to billionaires. Rolling back anti-discrimination policies to appease Donald Trump. Disrupting everyday Americans’ lives in pursuit of a radical agenda. House Republicans are putting billionaires over working families – and I won’t stand for it. I’ve always been clear about who I am fighting for, John. I’m not in Congress to serve the well-connected or the wealthy – I’m there for working families, for people doing their best to get by – for Northeast Ohioans who feel overlooked or left behind. So for me, “billionaires over families” just doesn’t cut it. I believe in “working families over billionaires,” in “democracy over oligarchy”, and in “Northeast Ohio over everybody.”
Yours in Service, Emilia
