I never thought I'd see the day when California was taking the lead over Arizona as it relates to stopping illegal immigration.

But here we are, August 2019, and California is finishing its wall in the San Diego area.

Meanwhile, here in Arizona, Yuma is in a state of emergency after being overwhelmed by caravan after caravan.

Tucson is holding a vote to become a sanctuary city.

And progress on a wall along Arizona's border with Mexico has been stopped due to liberal activist judges. 

This is a real problem and I am tired of it.

Don't these people understand that sanctuary cities are lawless, and actually encourage more illegal immigration that is already more than Arizona can handle?

Don't they know that drugs like meth continue to pour across the border into Arizona, because of our inability to secure our border?

Don't they know that illegal immigration decreases by 95% in sectors where there is a wall, and crime goes down a bunch as well?

Just goes to show you, the Democrats don't care about the poor, or about helping the people of Arizona. All they care about is an ideological crusade against America, even if it harms their own community.

If the federal government won't fight for a wall, then it falls on us here in Arizona to protect our communities. We must fight.
