For more than 40 years, Joyce has endured unimaginable suffering. She was taken from the wild as a calf after witnessing the brutal slaughter of her family. Since then, she has been sold off to circus after circus, venue after venue, subjected to unnatural living conditions, cruel training methods, and isolation.
This is no way to live.
In 2023, we helped rescue Mundi, an elephant, from the now-defunct Puerto Rico Zoo, where she had been isolated in a tiny enclosure for over 35 years. She had also been taken from the wild as a calf. Mundi’s rescue resulted from a long and tireless fight, but today, she is safe at a sanctuary in Georgia, where she can finally roam freely, socialize, and live in peace.
Friend, Six Flags profits from their animals, and giving up Joyce isn’t something they’ll do willingly. That’s why we need your help. Please start your monthly gift today so your first 6 months of donations can be matched!
Ongoing support is the key to freeing Joyce. Will you be one of 100 new monthly donors this Valentine’s Day? Your monthly gift will ensure we have the resources to keep fighting for Joyce until she is free—and when you start your monthly gift today, your support will double through August 2025!
Joyce has waited more than 40 years for freedom. Together, we can make it happen.
Sincerely,
Cameron Harsh
