We’re noticing a trend here – Amy Kennedy thinks that marrying into a famous family means the law and our Democratic values don’t apply to her.
First, Amy sought the counsel and support of convicted felon Craig Callaway. The Callaway political machine has been rigging New Jersey elections for years and Mr. Callaway himself was caught accepting bribes by the FBI. He was convicted and sent to prison, but Amy bought his support.
Then, she accepted thousands from a disgraced prison contractor called Wellpath, known for their corrupt pay-to-play practices. They let inmates die by denying their healthcare needs and helped Trump incarcerate immigrants in ICE camps to increase their stock price. They’ve been sued more than 70 times for wrongful death – but Amy solicited and accepted their campaign money.
Now, Amy and her husband have been caught breaking campaign finance law. They’re funneling $500,000 in illegal contributions to attack Brigid and lie about her record. They barely even tried to hide it. They’re being investigated by the FEC for breaking campaign finance law – but Amy doesn’t think it’s a big deal.
Do we really need to ask what kind of representative Amy Kennedy would be? Marrying into a famous family doesn’t mean you’re above the law.
Voters need to know about this unethical and illegal behavior before it’s to late. Can you help us set the record straight?
