Gamaliel’s Environmental Justice Steering Team is hosting a webinar on February 13, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. CT (7:00 p.m.
ET/4:00 p.m. PT). Our theme for the webinar is “A Theological Framework for Gamaliel’s Environmental Justice Work!”
We are pleased to announce that Shantha Ready Alonso will be our guest speaker. She is the former Director of Intergovernmental
and External Affairs at U.S. Department of the Interior focused on Environmental Policy during the Biden Administration. Previously,

In addition, we will be joined by Paz Artaza-Regan, Program Manager, Creation Care Teams, at the Catholic Climate Covenant. Paz
will be sharing information about how her faith tradition is equipping congregations and leaders to take action to protect God’s
