Hey There!

It’s now over a month since I was sworn in to the U.S. Senate…and what a
whirlwind month it’s been. Here are a few highlights:

I cosponsored seven bills, including the Polluters Pay Climate Fund Act
and a resolution condemning the pardons for individuals who were found
guilty of assaulting Capitol Police Officers.

I was assigned to four Committees: Banking, Environment and Public Works,
Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions & Special Committee on Aging. I was
honored to be named Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Transportation &
Infrastructure.

I questioned Cabinet nominees about policies that threaten Maryland jobs,
public health, and economic prosperity (I’ve even had one or two viral
moments from these hearings).

As Senator, I will always demand answers for my constituents and stand up
to anyone who puts Marylanders in harm’s way.

Well, I think it’s safe to say my first term in the Senate is
shaping up to be an eventful one.

Especially in this political climate, public service really is a team
sport. That’s why I’m counting on your support to keep Marylanders in the
loop and in the fight. [ [link removed] ]If you’re able, will you invest
$10 in
progress and prosperity for Maryland?

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done to help
get me to the Senate. I can’t wait to see all we achieve over these next
six years.

Gratefully,
Angela Alsobrooks
