John,
During these challenging times, our wins in 2024 serve as a guiding light as we work towards securing representation at every level of government. Our new leaders and alums represent the New American Majority — Black, Brown, Indigenous women, women of color, as well as young, LGBTQ+, and unmarried women!
Before we share a few highlights from our 2024 Annual Report, will you make a contribution so we can continue recruiting and training the next generation of Emerge women to serve their communities and fight back?

🤝 We broke barriers to increase representation. Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, in SD-22, is Connecticut’s first Indian American Senator. Myrna Melgar is the first Latina elected to San Francisco's Board of Supervisors. Kyra Harris Bolden is the first Black woman elected to the Michigan Supreme Court.
🏛️ We made strides across state legislatures. Emerge helped elect 224 women to state legislatures, with Emerge alums now making up 36% of the New Mexico House of Representatives and 17% of the New Mexico State Senate.
🚺 We elected women across the country. Just last year, Emerge helped elect 400 women to office, with about 70% of Emerge alums winning their races.
If you’re with us, John, can we count on you to make a contribution to help elect even more Democratic women to office so we can combat extremism at every level?

Thank you,
Emerge Comms Team
