Friend, everyone knows that Trump and Musk’s takeover of the federal budget and government agencies is completely illegal.

Democrats know it, Republicans know it, and every expert you can find will tell you it’s unconstitutional.

And the real reason they are choosing to do things this way, the reason they are testing the waters of authoritarianism, is because they simply don’t have the votes to legally enact their agenda through Congress.

Think about that — even though Republicans control all three branches of government, Trump still has to resort to illegal executive actions because his agenda is so unpopular. People don’t want to see USAID eliminated or the Department of Education abolished, only the fringe far-right do.

That’s why I believe if we keep up the pressure and continue to rally the public against Trump and Musk’s actions, we will lay the groundwork for their defeat.

Because America is still a country where the law matters, and the constitution matters. Congress and the courts exist as checks on the power of the presidency, and it’s up to a grassroots movement like ours to remind them to do that job.
