The NDRC is proud to have endorsed Judge Susan Crawford in what could be one of the most consequential races of the year: the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

It’s coming up fast in just 50 days — and because conservatives would regain control of the court if they win this race, the stakes are sky-high.

Will you chip in right now to support Democracy Defenders like Judge Crawford across the country? [[link removed]]

We’re fired up to support Judge Crawford, and we’re determined to defeat her far-right opponent, Brad Schimel. Here’s one major reason: when he was asked about Donald Trump’s pardons of the January 6th insurrectionists, he said he didn’t object .

If you support pardons for those who violated the law and tried to overturn a free and fair election, you shouldn’t be running for state supreme court — or any role where it is your responsibility to uphold the rule of law.

The contrast could not be clearer: While Judge Crawford has shown on the bench that she’s a fair, impartial public servant, her radical opponent would take Wisconsin’s highest court back to an extreme version that rolls back rights rather than protects them.

If we lose this seat, the far right will be on track to roll back our progress on fair maps and a whole host of other issues.

Your donation today will help power all of the NDRC’s work, including these critical efforts to help elect leaders who will defend our democracy. Will you pitch in today? [[link removed]]
