DEAR FRIENDS,
Just a quick update from this weekend. We have some good news!
A cockfight in Cookeville, Tennessee was busted after we called the Overton County Sheriffs and tipped them off to the illegal event. They went in and broke up the cockfight that had over 50 entries. We are unsure how many citations were issued, but it is great news that the animals survived to see another day.
In Mississippi, DL Parker’s planned cockfight, did not happen. We kept an eye on both his house, and his pit and there was zero activity at either. He once again had to cancel his cockfight.
