Dr. Raul Ruiz For Congress

With confirmation hearings for Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominations underway, we wanted your opinion on the pick Team Ruiz is most concerned about (and that’s saying something): Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Since the moment Donald Trump announced that RFK Jr. would be his pick to be the next U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Americans have been concerned about the prospect of someone with a history of denying science taking the position.

As a physician, one of Dr. Ruiz’s top priorities is ensuring that every American has access to quality, affordable health care.

While it’s impossible to say for sure what RFK Jr.’s confirmation would mean for American health care, his history of denying the effectiveness of vaccines and other medical practices that have long been proven safe by science is certainly cause for concern.

But before that, I want to hear from you. As the Senate prepares to vote on RFK Jr.’s confirmation, we want to hear from you: Do you approve of RFK Jr.? We need 1,000 responses by midnight:

The son of hardworking farmworkers, Dr. Ruiz grew up in Coachella, CA and learned at an early age that the key to attaining the American Dream is hard work and a great education. In the summer of 1990, Raul walked in the desert heat from business to business in the Coachella Valley asking them to invest in their community by contributing to his education. With each investment for college, he made a promise to come back home and serve his community as a physician. In 2012, he decided to take his service to the community to the next level by running for Congress. Dr. Ruiz needs our help to continue fighting for us in Congress.
