But for a lot of kids, that food’s not just a convenient option – it’s a literal lifesaver. 60% of public school students rely on federal programs to keep them from going hungry at school.

Now, the far right is preparing to DEFUND free and reduced school lunches.

Millions of kids across the country are walking into school every day wondering, “will they even give me a meal when I get to lunch, or did some politician say ‘no?’”

My friends and I were too young to vote last year, but we’re paying the price regardless.
