I don't know about you, but I've found myself exhausted by the news these past few weeks. I have to constantly remind myself that the strategy is to exhaust us. And we can't let it work.
While there is a lot that feels out of our control, there is plenty of work we need to do right now to protect students and ensure their schools are safe, welcoming, respectful places to learn.
School board elections don't just happen every four – or even every two – years like most other public offices. There are school board races across the country every year. Some primaries even start this spring.
We need your help recruiting potential candidates, connecting candidates with School Board Integrity Project, and getting out the word that we're here to support candidates with resources and training.
Even in chaos, we can find focus. Let's work together to ensure students everywhere are supported by school boards with their best intentions in mind.
