We have good news:

Every single anti-abortion bill that was introduced this legislative session failed to make it past crossover. With your help, we were able to fight back against attempts to strip away our rights and spread anti-abortion misinformation.

But our work isn’t over yet.

We are still fighting to ensure that the Virginia Right to Contraception Act passes, which would guarantee the right for people to use and doctors to prescribe contraception, including birth control pills, IUDs, emergency contraceptives, and more.

This may seem like a no-brainer, but nothing is guaranteed. Governor Youngkin vetoed this bill once in a previous session, and if it passes, he will likely veto it again. Additionally, Republicans in the VA Senate attempted to block this legislation from progressing – which shows Virginians exactly where the GOP stands on contraception.

We have just over a week left in session, and we need your help to ensure this critical legislation passes. And if it is vetoed, we must be ready to hit the ground running to elect representatives who won’t fight against our rights.

This November, we must ensure that voters in Virginia are READY to cast their ballots for pro-choice leaders up and down the ballot.
