John, we have an update for you:

First , President Trump issued an Executive Order freezing all congressionally-mandated federal spending related to climate and the environment.

Then , the Office of Management and Budget issued a memo to freeze almost all federal funding (we’re talking billions of dollars).

Next , once federal judges stepped in, this memo was rescinded – but still left critical dollars for clean energy and climate up in the air.

Now, here’s the latest:

A federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration failed to comply with an order to unfreeze those federal funds.

This is the first time a judge has declared that the White House was disobeying a judicial mandate… paving the way for a constitutional crisis over federal funding.

The Trump administration is bending over backwards to try and get around the courts. But SEEC members are keeping up the public pressure to fund key environmental programs that keep our water and air clean – will you support our ranks of 90+ climate champions with a donation today? Last week, our SEEC members showed up in full force at the EPA to protest the administration’s illegal funding freeze – and they were denied entry. And this week, they’re remaining laser-focused on tackling the climate crisis amidst the chaos intentionally sown by Donald Trump.

John, it’s everyday Americans who are paying the price for the unelected billionaire Elon Musk’s meddling in our nation’s environmental progress:

* Nebraska was frozen out of their $307 million EPA grant helping farmers grow their rural economy and support climate-smart agriculture.

* A nonprofit in Georgia could not access their $156 million grant to help low-income households save money by deploying solar panels and energy storage.

* Illinois school districts have not been able to access $15 million to integrate their zero-emission buses with on-site battery systems to provide power during outages.

There’s no time to waste: our SEEC members are working around the clock to protect clean energy jobs and our climate from an administration gone rogue. Please rush a donation today to power their efforts: [[link removed]]
