Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For more than 800,000 years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm.

   Our Earth passed 350ppm CO2 during 1988!

Trump’s Climate Impact: How Do We Respond
Presented by Julie Enslow and Charles Bensinger

We're 3 WEEKS into the new administration and the U.S has:
  • Pulled out of the Paris Agreement
  • Moved to freeze clean energy funding
  • Declared a “national energy emergency,” doubling down on oil and gas
  • Revoked Biden’s goals on electric vehicles
  • Warned more than 1,100 Environmental Protection Agency employees who work on climate change, reducing air pollution, enforcing environmental laws and other programs that they could be fired at any time

Nothing unexpected here - see Project 2025.

Join us to learn more and how we can respond.  Hope to see you tonight!

After the meeting, join us at Monica's (one block south of the church)
for some conversation and a drink.  Everyone's invited!
