Team —

My most important job is listening to and fighting for Granite Staters. With the start of the new administration, I've taken as many opportunities as possible to have conversations about what's worrying you.

And one name has come up again and again — Elon Musk. His reckless plundering of your personal information and the government's sensitive payment system is a huge problem.

Last week I heard from Granite Staters relying on Meals on Wheels who are worried the program will be cut.

I heard from veteran service providers who are worried about budget cuts from D.C. forcing them to cut services for veterans.

I heard from members of the LGBTQ+ community who want to know what can be done to protect their rights under law.

And I heard from health care providers who are concerned that they won't have the federal funds needed to provide care to communities, especially in rural areas.

On top of these real worries, Musk's actions are setting up unprecedented conflicts of interest to enrich his own businesses.

I'll tell you what I told the Granite Staters I spoke with: The unelected Musk cannot curtail Congressional authority to allocate funds to Granite Staters, and I will use every possible tool to bring the truth to light. If you're with me in this important work to defend Granite Staters and strengthen our communities, please chip in what you can to fuel this fight.

Let's be clear, team — where there's actual waste I'm all for cutting it. That's why the very first bill I introduced in this Congress was to curtail wasteful and duplicative programs in budgeting. It's even bipartisan. But here's the distinction between President Trump and Musk's reckless schemes and my legislation: My bill saves taxpayers money without disrupting vital services to Granite Staters.

Every day there are new stories coming out about Donald Trump’s White House and Musk's task force that raise big questions. Here's my promise to you — any time they try to hurt Granite State families, I'll be fighting to stop them. >> [link removed]
