CHEYENNE — Big game applications are open, and if you’re thinking about hunting now is a good time to sign up for hunter education. Classes are offered statewide and can quickly fill. To register for hunter education visit the hunter education website.


2025 Wyoming Wildlife photo contest winners announced

CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department congratulates the winners of Wyoming Wildlife magazine’s annual photo contest. Photographers of all ages showcased their skills in the 55th annual contest, which received more than 3,000 submissions. The grand prize winner for best overall photo titled, “Somebody doesn’t want to share,” of two gray wolves from Evan Watts of Gardiner, Mont.
