John,

Thanks to your hard work and dedication, I'm humbled and proud to be the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate to take on Senator Joni Ernst.

This election is happening as Iowans are facing tough times. The problems Iowans are facing today have existed for far too long, and have only been laid bare by this pandemic.

Tens of thousands of Iowans are sick or out of work, our small businesses are worried about keeping the lights on, and our farmers are struggling to pay the bills. Iowans are working one or two jobs, and still can't earn enough to raise their family with the dignity we all deserve. This past week has also been a reminder of how much injustice still exists in our black and brown communities in Iowa and across the country. I'm thankful to those who are exercising their right to speak out for justice through nonviolent protest. We have much more work to do.

We're running this campaign the right way: without a dime of corporate PAC money. Instead, we rely on grassroots supporters like you to fuel us to victory. And thanks to your support, tonight we took the first step toward flipping this seat and taking back the Senate.

Now, we have some big next steps. We're polling neck-and-neck with our opponent and Mitch McConnell has already pledged to spend millions on our race. He'll continue to spend whatever it takes to hold onto his Senate majority this fall.

I'm a farm kid and a mom, so I'm used to being scrappy. But I can't win this race alone. That's why I want to ask you to be one of the first people to officially make a donation to our General Election Fund. Your donation will get us one step closer to flipping this seat and the Senate.

Will you pitch in $5, or whatever you can, to help us continue to power this grassroots campaign?

I know that if we keep working together, we can flip this seat and take back the Senate.

Thank you to the volunteers who spent countless hours making phone calls, attending events, and adjusting to the new challenge of campaigning entirely online. Thank you to those of you who pitched in whatever you could afford, and to those who spread the word to their friends and family about our grassroots campaign.

Thank you for your support. Now let's win this thing.

Theresa

Our race against our extreme opponent is neck-and-neck. Theresa Greenfield isn't taking a dime of corporate PAC money -- instead, we're relying on our average online contribution of just $18. Will you pitch in now to help us take back this seat and flip the Senate?
