John,
Last month, I had the honor of visiting Harrison-Morton Middle School in Allentown. I saw the pride on students’ faces when the band played their new instruments and showed me their new uniforms.
Thanks to the work we’ve done over the last two years, Allentown School District is receiving $90 million more than before — funding that has allowed the district to expand mental health resources, install new HVAC systems to keep schools cool on hot days, buy new musical instruments, and make critical infrastructure repairs to school buildings.
In my first years as Governor, we made historic investments in our public schools, students, and teachers, including the largest increase in K-12 education funding in Pennsylvania history. This year, my brand new budget is building on that foundation by investing an additional $526 million , and driving it out to the schools that need them most.
I believe that supporting public education is one of the wisest investments our Commonwealth can make, John. If you agree, will you sign your name in support of my new budget?

Article 3, Section 14 of the Pennsylvania Constitution guarantees every Pennsylvanian access to a “thorough and efficient system of public education.” That means it shouldn’t matter what zip code you live in, John — your children and grandchildren deserve access to a high-quality public education.
I’ve called for increasing special education funding by $40 million, doubling the funding of student teacher stipends to address Pennsylvania’s teacher shortage and continuing universal free breakfast in all K-12 public schools.
John, the investments that we make in public education today will pay dividends down the road. That’s why I couldn’t be more proud to be a champion of public education here in Pennsylvania.
If you support my work to invest in Pennsylvania’s students, teachers, and public schools, will you sign your name in support of my 2025 budget? With your help, we can get this budget passed into law and get those resources out to the schools that need them most.
