I wanted to share some very exciting news with you. Today, we have set a campaign record for fundraising — as of now, we've raised over $96,000 and counting. All in a single day.

We weren't expecting to send an email like this tonight. But we also weren't expecting to see a surge of support this large and this rapid from individual donors. It's clear that our campaign for bold, progressive change in NY-16 is striking a chord like never before.

Our campaign has never had this much momentum, John, and the political media and pundits are now starting to pay even closer attention to this race. So, we're hoping to show them the strength of our grassroots movement, and that this campaign is capable of raising $100,000 in just one day.

Will you chip in $5 or whatever you're able to in order to make this happen?

What's more, our last FEC filing deadline before our primary on June 23 is tomorrow — and it's so important that we show up with our strongest numbers ever.

John, that means everyone is going to see just how much money we raise up until that deadline. Not only do we need to produce strong numbers to make sure we have the resources to keep going strong until our June 23 primary, but we also need to show everyone that Jamaal has a real chance of winning this primary, and ending Eliot Engel's 31 years in Congress.
