This is terrifying. Donald Trump is openly inciting violence against those he sees as his enemies.
Late last week, Trump posted a video from a supporter on Twitter who declares, “The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”
The next day, Trump issued a racially-charged threat against protestors in Minneapolis -- threatening to deploy the National Guard and telling Americans, “When the looting starts, the shooting starts.”
There’s no precedent for the President of the United States promoting violence against political opponents and American citizens, but Trump has been doing this since before he was even elected -- leading rally crowds in chants of “lock her up” and telling his supporters to “knock the crap out of” protestors who disrupt them.
It’s absolutely unacceptable -- and so is the fact that 55% of voters forecast Trump will win again in November.
