Democratic leadership is utterly failing to meet the
moment, John.

First, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer told his colleagues they
won’t utilize their federal budget votes as leverage against the Trump
administration’s dangerous agenda:

Then, this happened:

[ [link removed] ]Tweet by Ken Klippenstein: “What leverage do we have?” says Democratic
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. “They control the House, the
Senate, and the presidency; it’s their government.”

We need Democratic leaders in Congress willing to fight like hell for the
people who elected them, instead of rolling over to Republicans’ majority
control and giving up.

During the 2024 election cycle, the Democratic Party warned that democracy
as we know it is at stake under Donald Trump — now that he’s in power
dismantling our federal government while ignoring the separation of
powers, they need to start acting like it.

Justice Democrats like Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Summer Lee, and
Delia Ramirez are speaking up and demanding their colleagues join them in
doing everything within their power to stop Trump and Elon Musk’s
billionaire coup.

Congress, and Justice Democrats is actively recruiting candidates to run

As Trump’s MAGA administration continues to break the law, ignore courts
and the Constitution, and destabilize our federal government, everyday
people are tired of being told to call their representatives — it’s time
for Democrats in Congress to do their jobs and fight back with EVERYTHING
they’ve got!

If they don’t, then we’ll challenge them in the 2026 primary elections
with courageous, progressive leaders from working-class backgrounds who
will truly represent the people.
