WELCOME CHAIRMAN GREG ROTHMAN!
It was an exciting weekend, friend!
Sunday, the Eagles won the Super Bowl and Saturday, State Senator Greg Rothman
was elected as the new Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.
Greg is a United States Marine veteran and conservative fighter who has
dedicated his life to serving our country and our commonwealth. His commitment
to our party began in 1980, when he became a 14-year-old foot soldier in the
Reagan Revolution, and later was a state party intern under former Chairman
Earl Baker. While running a successful business, Greg remained involved,
becoming Chairman of the Cumberland County Republican Party, and was later
elected to the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives in 2015. Since 2022,
Greg has served in the State Senate, where he is recognized as a leading voice
when it comes to advancing our conservative agenda.
Greg knows that we need to build on our successes and accelerate the gains our
party made this past November, and he has a trusted partner in this mission –
Vice Chair Bernie Comfort. Bernie was the Trump Chair in Pennsylvania in 2020,
she was also on the Women for Trump National Advisory Board, and proudly served
as an elector for President Trump and Vice President Vance in 2024. Bernie has
been a tireless force in building our party and developing our local committees
and will continue that work as Vice Chair of the Party.
Chairman Greg Rothman and Vice Chair Bernie Comfort’s principal goal will be
to make Pennsylvania a reliably red state for generations, and they have a plan
to do just that:
* Build on our incredible voter registration efforts from this past cycle
* Encourage the use of mail-in ballots so we can continue to compete with
Democrats
* Push for common-sense election reforms like voter ID
* Redouble our efforts to recruit the best candidates up and down the ballot
* Unleash the grassroots to strengthen our movement from the bottom up
Accomplishing these goals will require a financial war chest. As Chairman,
Greg will use his experience from the House Republican Campaign Committee,
where he spearheaded fundraising efforts that brought in millions of dollars,
enabling Republicans to expand their majority and secure critical victories
across the state. His proven ability to build strong donor networks and
strategically allocate resources will be invaluable as State Party Chairman.
Greg is also a businessman who knows the importance of managing a strong
operation. He’ll ensure the state party has top-notch staff who are ready to
work hard every day to support President Trump and his America First agenda and
say goodbye to Josh Shapiro in 2026.
Under Greg and Bernie’s leadership, our party will not only be unified but
will emerge stronger, more resilient, and more determined than ever before.
