John, we’re going to tell you a story.
In a land not so far away, there lives Gen Z in America. All of us seem to be addicted to our phones, scrolling through social media for hours.
However, for every trait we have in common, there is a rift that separates many of us. Our journalist friend (and fellow Gen Z) Rachel Janfanza helped break it down on Twitter recently.
The divide is becoming increasingly more clear as time goes on, and the election showed that. We have our work cut out for us. We need to unite the two halves of Gen Z to move our fight forward.
Rather than dismiss our differences, we need to work to find common ground. We all are unique, meaning we each bring something different to the table when it comes to this mission. That’s our work at March For Our Lives. Creating a political home for all of us that’s rooted in our shared future.
We can’t afford NOT to. Gen Z is going to be a driving force for change, and we’re going to be at the forefront of bringing folks in and making change happen.
