NOTICE OF FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST RELEASE OF FUNDS

These notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the City of Dayton.

REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS

On or about 3/4/2025 the City of Dayton will submit a request to the Texas General Land Office for the release of Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds appropriated under the Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2018 (Pub. L.115-123), as amended, to undertake a project known as Dayton 24-065-006-E163 - Sewer Facilities Improvement. The City of Dayton proposes to replace approximately ten thousand six hundred thirty-six linear feet (10, 636 LF) of sanitary sewer lines with pre-construction cleaning and pipe busting, replace sanitary sewer lines, rehabilitate manholes and complete all associated appurtenances. Construction will take place at various locations throughout the City of Dayton, Liberty County, Texas. See Table 1 for the locations, including coordinates for each segment:
