Highlighting the Impact of a Republican Funding Freeze

I joined Meals on Wheels for a delivery ride-along in San Bernardino to highlight how the illegal Republican funding freeze will harm the Inland Empire.

If Republicans get their way, programs like Meals on Wheels will be forced to cut their services, leaving thousands of seniors without food. Instead of making life easier, this Republican rip-off will raise costs, take away jobs and jeopardize the well-being of seniors in our community and across the country.

Stopping Elon Musk from Accessing Your Sensitive Information

Recently, Elon Musk gained unlawful access to the personal information of every American, including your tax, Medicare and Social Security information. The White House is unable to explain why they need access to this information, what they’re doing with it or why an unelected billionaire was granted this level of access to such sensitive information.

In response, I helped introduce the Taxpayer Data Protection Act, which will prevent unelected billionaires from unlawfully accessing Americans' sensitive data, including financial, medical and personal information. This legislation ensures that only people with top security clearances can access the U.S. Department of Treasury payment system.

I will continue to use every tool at my disposal to fight back against Republican actions that make life harder and more expensive for the American people.
