A message from Lauren Weston, Acterra's Executive Director:
We at Acterra are committed to pursuing social equity and the ability of all persons to live free from fear, free from harm, and free from racist oppression. The deep injustices facing black communities and other communities of color need our attention, not just in this moment, but throughout our daily work. We must have a lens towards equity in everything we do (how we hire, design programs, and work with partners) and we also know that this is not enough. Silence is not an option. The Acterra team commits to learning about and reflecting continually on our areas of privilege; to advocating and living anti-racist practices; to lifting black and brown voices; and fighting for justice.

Please learn about organizations that are meeting the needs of under-served people and donate if you are able. Please continue to educate those around you that equity is a fundamental ethos as we strive to promote a healthy and sustainable planet.

Acterra supports #BlackLivesMatter and the fight for equity and justice.
