Now that our team has had a chance to comb through all the survey data, we’re here with the results!
Last week we promised to give you an update after we concluded our grassroots survey. Now that our team has had a chance to comb through all the data, we’re here with the results!
First, we asked what concerns people the most about the Trump administration and the Republican majorities in Congress:
- By far, the most common themes were the administration’s unconstitutional actions and the unelected billionaires who are running the show.
- Many people expressed concern about the erosion of democracy and rolling back of rights for LGBTQ+ people, women, and people of color.
- Many also feared threats to critical programs like Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare with DOGE employees unilaterally cutting off funds.
Sarah shares all of these concerns, which is why she’s working every day in Congress to hold the Trump administration and the unelected billionaires running it accountable. Will you pitch in $5 to help her stay focused on the fight?

Even though this *is* a frightening time for the country, our survey wasn’t all doom and gloom. Our next question asked what’s continuing to give people hope in this moment:
- Many people responded that the numerous lawsuits and court rulings attempting to stop the administration’s unconstitutional actions are giving them hope that democracy will prevail.
- Some are finding hope in elected officials who are speaking out and taking action, and many are organizing to elect more Democrats and take back Congress after the midterms.
Things might look dark now, but public opinion turns quickly, and 2026 is right around the corner. Sarah believes there’s always reason for hope, and she’ll never stop speaking up for what’s right.
But Sarah can’t do this work without your support. Will you pitch in $5 or whatever you can today to help her keep fighting for us in Congress?
