RFK Jr. has spread dangerous misinformation about vaccines, denied basic scientific consensus, and embraced conspiracy theories that threaten the very foundation of public health. Now, Senate Republicans are set to vote on his nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, an agency that millions of Americans rely on to safeguard their health and well-being. His only qualification?Complete fealty to Donald Trump.
We cannot allow this administration to dismantle decades of medical and scientific progress in the name of conspiracy and chaos. That’s why I’m proud to sign onto a letter with five of my Democratic colleagues who have worked as physicians.
Our statement reads, “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. promotes dangerous and unfounded mistrust in vaccines which are proven to have saved millions of lives. He is a threat to basic mental and reproductive health care services and exhibits a concerning lack of understanding of key aspects of our healthcare system.”
We must stand together against this Administration’s dangerous anti-science agenda. Thanks for ensuring we always have leaders who value truth over lies, science over fear, and people over politics.
