In Georgia, and across the country, we are feeling a hundred things at once -- and we want to acknowledge that. Those feelings may be frustration, exhaustion, dismay, or trauma, or all of the above and more.
We can’t say that this moment is about an election, or that our anguish will be resolved by the election of one candidate or another.
What we can say is what we’ve said from the beginning: that every one of us on Sarah’s team is dedicated to a better future for Georgia. A future where no working family is left behind. A future where we work together to rewrite the agreement between people and the state that the state has broken so often.
We are committed to this goal -- and to you -- and we will be until the last day of this campaign. The primary election is exactly one week away, and we will continue to make calls, run ads, and tell voters about Sarah’s vision for Georgia’s future. Every minute until the election counts, and every dollar keeps our ads and phone banks running. Though many in Georgia have already voted by mail, there’s still a week to go -- and we need to make the most of it.
