I’m suing Nancy Pelosi to stop her unconstitutional power grab. Will you help?
Since its creation, Congress has worked through wars and fires, terrorist attacks and outbreaks of diseases. Through it all, Congress has done the work of the American people in the moments when leadership was needed most.
Now, though, Nancy Pelosi has instead sent Congress home - turned out the lights, shut it down and said the American people aren’t worth the risks of showing up to work. In fact, Democrats just cancelled votes until the last day of June. It’s an awful, stupid dereliction of duty, and it is a massive embarrassment for our country.
What’s even worse though is that Nancy Pelosi is using the pandemic as cover to consolidate power like a tyrant, instituting proxy voting so that rank and file Members of Congress completely abandon their constituents by giving their votes to Speaker Pelosi’s closest allies. Last week one of them voted 7 times!!!
