Recently, Governor DeSantis signed a bill banning sanctuary cities in the state of Florida.
Now, the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the city of South Miami are suing us and claiming that this law is racist.
The idea that we're being sued for enforcing existing laws and cracking down on illegal immigration is simply unbelievable. America is a nation of laws and if it is to remain so, we must respect the rule of law. The Democrats and their radical ideology on immigration policy threaten the very essence of the great American Ideal.
You saw it for yourself during the first round of Presidential Primary Debates held by the Democrats. They're for giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants and overcrowding our hospitals, decriminalizing border crossings, and turning the entire country into one big sanctuary nation.
We can't stand for this as Americans. We need YOUR help fighting back.
As the daughter of Cuban immigrants, I am proud to say that I support this commonsense ban on illegal sanctuary cities. Immigration to our country must be done legally. We cannot allow the Democrat's radical open borders and lawlessness agenda to take hold.
Florida's pending legal battle over sanctuary cities will be ground zero for national immigration policy.
That's why we need to win this fight and show that sanctuary cities will not be tolerated in Florida, nor will they be tolerated anywhere in the United States of America.
