Hey, True Texans!

You guys are so much fun to hang with!  I started the week line dancing with you. Hee haw!  If you haven’t made it out yet, here’s a list of dances we’ve learned.  You can learn them at home by looking them up on You Tube!

  • Cowboy Rhythm
  • Mamma Maria
  • 101
  • Copperhead Road
  • Waltz Across Texas
  • Yes, Sir, That’s My Baby
  • God Blessed Texas

I’m sure there are more, but the names skip me.  Come find out in person! The lessons continue today and next Sunday -- you can jump in any time.  On the 23rd we’ll add some partner dances for a bit, so bring a date if you can! Lessons are free.

Whether you dance or not, we want you having fun with us at Texas Tough.  Our annual gala is bigger and better than any other!  It's also less than a month away, so get those tickets! (Hurry -- VIP is already sold out!)

The next day I attended the Tarrant County TTP meeting, and since they are our biggest group, it was great as usual.  But as I got reports about our other meetings around the state, the energy is just as high and the movement is just as strong!  Thank you, Texas!

Then on Tuesday I spent the day with you at the Capitol.  Wow!  We filled 4 busses and invaded the Pink Dome with the best activists in Texas.

I assure you, those elected reps see us and fear us.  So fun!  This is how it’s supposed to be.

On Wednesday I hosted a meeting with our leadership teams from around the state to give them an update on where TTP is at financially.  Let's just say we need to do a better job at this!  But they jumped right in and want to help, and that just made me so proud of them!  If YOU can help keep our budget afloat, please click here.

Meetings and socials continued Thursday-Saturday, and here it is Sunday again! And get this... we're only halfway done with our March meetings!  You can still join us this week, so be sure you’re getting involved.  We do a lot of stuff, and our meetings are only a small part of that, but missing our meetings means you’re missing the best part… the people!

Capitol Engagement:

Every Tuesday we meet up at the Capitol! If you bring a carpool, we'll pay for your gas!
