AP: Trump administration plans to cut 80,000 employees from Veterans Affairs, according to internal memo
John,
The Department of Veterans Affairs is now facing massive cuts at the direction of the Trump Administration’s DOGE.
Not only is Virginia home to dedicated VA nurses, physicians, and case managers who provide care to our nation’s veterans, but Virginia is home to generations of veterans who rely on care at the VA. These cuts would jeopardize access to healthcare, mental health services, and essential resources for the brave men and women who have put their lives on the line to defend America.
While Virginia’s Republican leadership continues to stand by Trump and DOGE's harmful cuts, I will always speak out and stand up for Virginia’s veterans. Please consider making a contribution today to make sure we flip this Governor’s seat in November:
