✅ Defended social programs, including by opposing Trump’s budget proposal that threatens Medicaid to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

✅ Demanded accountability for the Trump Administration’s wasteful release of water from California’s Central Valley dams — a move that had no real impact on firefighting ability in Los Angeles and put communities at risk.

✅ Introduced an amendment to the Fair Labor Standards Amendment which seeks to allow truckers to earn fair overtime wages.
