Before I explain, will you chip in $3 toward our first end-of-quarter goal of the year? The end of the month marks the first FEC deadline since I was sworn into Congress, and a strong showing will set the tone.

I’ve only been in Congress for two months, and Republicans have already singled me out as a top target.

Attacks are increasing by the day – we just received word that the NRCC is funding a digital ad against me. As one of the only Democrats to flip a red seat in November, the GOP knows this seat is key to House control.

It’s why national Democrats named CA-27 a “Frontline” race – their program focused on protecting the most vulnerable Democrats in Congress.

Defending this seat gives Democrats the best chance of holding this administration accountable – and the work must start now.

It’s critical that we prove that we have the strength to defend this seat. Can I count on your continued support when it matters most with $3 toward our end-of-quarter deadline?
