John, with the Senate just having passed Republicans’ spending bill despite my and many House Democrats’ opposition to it, I want to make something clear: I’ll never leave you behind in favor of hyper-partisan games.

I voted against the partisan funding bill Republicans proposed to keep the government open because it did exactly that.

Republicans might be just fine with continuing to give Elon Musk free reign over our government and slashing funding for veterans’ assistance programs, but I’m sure as hell not.

I came to Congress to do one thing: Fight for you. Now is the time for Democrats to take every opportunity we can to issue a critical check on Donald Trump’s power — not roll over and let him destroy American lives. If you’re with me, will you chip in $10 to support my campaign now?

John, I’ll level with you: Over the next two years, Democrats won’t have many opportunities to gain leverage over the Trump administration.
