The November 2020 elections will be one of the most important elections of our lifetime.

As we look towards the future of our government and especially the Democratic Party, we need progressive leaders from coast to coast running for office on platforms that reflect the values of social, environmental, and economic justice. If this occurs, it is inevitable that 2020 will create a blue wave across the country.

That is why I have endorsed Lt. Governor David Zuckerman running for Governor in Vermont. He was first inspired to run for office by then-Congressman Bernie Sanders and, throughout his two decades of public service, has fought for a $15 minimum wage, powerful action on the climate crisis, and was the deciding vote in making Vermont the first state in the country to legalize gay marriage.

David and I both know our democracy relies on participation. That is why we are fighting so hard to ensure you can safely make your voice heard by casting your ballot.
