Friends,
This week, I engaged in important conversations about the future of our country and how we can uphold TX-02 values at the federal level. I’m working to promote government transparency, hold institutions accountable, and advance common-sense policies.
I joined Piers Morgan Uncensored to debate President Trump’s leadership and foreign policy and sat down with Russell Brand to discuss the challenges within the conservative movement. I also led a press conference for DeTrans Awareness Day and reintroduced my bill to prevent federal funding for gender transition procedures on minors.
Thanks for subscribing, and have a great weekend!
Sincerely,

De-Trans Awareness Day Press Conference
This week, I led a press conference recognizing DeTrans Awareness Day, where medical experts, advocacy groups, and detransitioners like Chloe Cole and Dr. Eithan Haim shared powerful testimonies on the lasting harm of gender transition procedures on minors. Chloe’s story is one everyone needs to hear—a firsthand account of how rushed, irreversible medical interventions failed her and so many others.
Doctors at the conference stressed the need for evidence-based treatment and an end to reckless medical practices on children. Advocacy groups supported our call for accountability while ensuring funding remains for essential mental health services.
We’re fighting for medical ethics, protecting vulnerable kids, and exposing the dangers of ideologically driven treatments. I will continue pushing for real safeguards and truth in medicine.
Piers Morgan Uncensored
This week on Piers Morgan Uncensored, I went head-to-head with progressive journalist Mehdi Hasan in a debate about President Trump’s first weeks in office, foreign policy, and more.
Throughout the debate, Mehdi struggled to counter my points, often dodging the reality of President Trump’s wins while clinging to the Left’s same-old, tired narratives. Even when he seemed to agree with the outcomes that President Trump had achieved, he refused to give credit where credit was due. Overall, it was a debate of facts versus fiction – watch for yourself and see who made the stronger case.
Stay Free with Russell Brand
Recently, I joined Russell Brand on his podcast, Stay Free, to discuss the state of the conservative movement, the influence of the deep state, and the future of the Right. We discussed the fractures within conservatism, the fight for government transparency, and the challenges of shaping a movement that stands on principle while remaining effective.
We also tackled key foreign policy issues, including my skepticism of the military-industrial complex and Trump’s approach to diplomacy. Beyond that, we addressed the growing crisis at our southern border—how cartels have expanded their power, the surge of fentanyl into our communities, and why securing the border is a national security imperative. It was a candid, important discussion about the direction of our country—one you don't want to miss.

The IRS has officially opened the 2025 tax filing season and is now accepting 2024 tax returns before the April 15 deadline. Taxpayers in federally declared disaster areas may have additional time to file.
- Faster Refunds – Most refunds are issued within 21 days if filed electronically. Those eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) may receive refunds by March 3. Track refund status using “Where’s My Refund?” on the IRS’ website or the IRS2Go app.

- Wait to File Until You Have All Documents – Ensure all income and tax documents are received before filing to avoid delays or errors.
- Choose a Trusted Tax Professional – Avoid "ghost" tax preparers who do not sign returns. Always verify a tax preparer’s credentials.

Energy and Commerce Hearing on EPA's Brownfields Program

This week, the Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Environment held a hearing on the EPA’s Brownfields Program, which helps assess, clean up, and repurpose potentially contaminated industrial, residential, and commercial sites. With over 450,000 Brownfield sites nationwide, this program has long enjoyed bipartisan support for its ability to address potentially contained sites while driving economic growth and redevelopment. I look forward to working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to strengthen and improve this important program so that communities can continue to benefit from the EPA’s Brownfields Program.
De-Trans Awareness Day
In recognition of De-Transition Awareness Day, I re-introduced the Children’s Hospital Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) Support Reauthorization Act of 2025, extending CHGME funding through 2030 while preventing federal pediatric training dollars from supporting hospitals that perform gender transition procedures on minors.
Similarly, just a few months ago, I introduced H.R. 498, the Do No Harm in Medicaid Act, with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. This legislation prohibits Medicaid from providing gender transition procedures for minors, protecting children from irreversible interventions and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent on evidence-based, medically necessary care.
I have consistently fought to protect children, ensure accountability in healthcare funding, uphold parental rights, and stop taxpayer funding of harmful medical practices—and I will continue these efforts in the 119th Congress.

"EPA: The Real Deep State and How To Fix It"
On this episode of Hold These Truths, I sat down with Andrew Wheeler, former EPA Administrator under President Trump, to discuss real solutions for fixing America’s broken environmental bureaucracy. We broke down the flaws in our permitting processes, the inefficiency of federal agencies, and why transparency is key to speeding up approvals.
We also tackled media narratives, climate change policies, and the urgent need to end U.S. reliance on China for critical minerals. Andrew shared practical solutions to cut red tape, improve environmental policy, and put America back in charge of its energy future.
"A Whistleblower & A Former Trans Teen Expose The Medical Establishment’s Radical Gender Ideology"
I sat down with Dr. Eithan Haim and Chloe Cole for DeTrans Awareness Day and the reintroduction of my bill to ban federal funding for children’s hospitals that perform gender transition procedures on minors.
Dr. Haim is the surgeon who blew the whistle on a Texas hospital’s use of trans treatments on minors—only to face a relentless, years-long criminal investigation by the Biden DOJ. He shares his firsthand experience of government overreach and the medical malpractice happening behind closed doors. Chloe, a former trans-identifying teen and now a Patient Advocate for Do No Harm, exposes how social media and unethical doctors manipulate vulnerable kids into making irreversible decisions. We also break down the legal and legislative battles ahead, the impact of President Trump’s executive orders, and what must be done to protect children from harmful, experimental procedures. This is a conversation every American needs to hear.
