*Spring is almost here and things are getting "wild" in Texas state parks!*

Spring is a wonderful time to visit your favorite parks. Warm weather, wildflowers, wildlife and wild adventures await! 

Spring Break is upon us, so parks may be filling up fast. Make reservations [ [link removed] ] for camping or a single day if you haven't already. 

Be sure to check the park status [ [link removed] ] before you leave. Please modify or cancel [ [link removed] ] your reservation if your plans change, so someone else can enjoy the park!

Wildlife

Wildlife viewing [ [link removed] ] is one of the most enjoyable things to do at state parks. With plenty of wildlife around in the spring, please keep a respectful distance and review these tips for wildlife watching [ [link removed] ]. Many parks will be hosting wildlife watching events [ [link removed] ] to help you spot various species.

*Great Texas Birding Classic
*Register today [ [link removed] ] for the 2025 Birding Classic! This year's tournament runs daily from April 15-May 15. There are categories [ [link removed] ] for all ages and skill levels, including beginners, as well as a category specifically for state parks. The registration [ [link removed] ] deadline is April 1.
