Email from Tarrant County Republican Party Now you can help us with DOGE!   Contribute Today towards Local Election Victory Our New DOGE Website We are happy to announce a new tool in our arsenal to assist the Texas DOGE Committee and expose government waste here in Texas. With property tax and use of the budget surplus slated as one of the top issues this session, it's more important than ever to prevent waste in the government, and to know how much our government really has at its disposal. You can click HERE to visit our new Texas DOGE website. Finding waste and suspicious spending requires an incredible amount of pouring over the Comptroller's database - which, due to its complexity, is not user-friendly. We created this website so that you can have a more approachable way to see all the data yourself that we are flagging and analyzing. Perhaps you can catch something we haven't! This way you don't have to deal with the Comptroller database yourself, and can focus on what we're identifying as the problem areas. Now we can get your help directly to identify issues for the DOGE Committee to investigate and address. A few weeks ago, Representative Mitch Little wrote an article about documents he had received regarding the true cost of the Paxton impeachment - you can read his article HERE. He brought up an interesting theory - that government agencies were using Unexpended Cash Balance Forwards to retain a pool of cash from year to year that could be used with very little oversight. You may recall in our initial report that, for the current biennium, unexpended cash balance forwards across all agencies topped $26 billion. We have found an additional anomaly in the unexpended cash balance forward data, and hope that the DOGE Committee can get to the bottom of it. If you add up the records for unexpended cash balance forwards for the last 10 years (the farthest back the database appears to go), the revenue for those codes and the expenditures for those codes have a $500 million discrepancy. The last ten years of unexpended cash balance forward data - all of it - has been uploaded to our new website. Feel free to check it out for yourself and let us know what you think. Local Candidate Endorsements At our March EC Meeting, we passed endorsements of candidates for the May elections. You can click HERE to see our list of endorsements. With candidates selected, campaign season is in full swing. We will be heavily involved in these races. If you would like to assist with any of these races, please reach out. You can reply directly to this email. Our long-term vision of making Tarrant County the new conservative stronghold means defeating the Left every chance we can get, including in the local elections. They are vital to stomping out leftism at its roots. We expect that many of these candidates will seek the endorsement of the State Party as well. We will take the new strategies we implemented in November to achieve historic victory and apply them to these elections as well. But victory costs money! If you would like to contribute to this effort, please use the red button at the top of the email, or click HERE. O'Hare Letter to UT County Judge O'Hare sent a letter this week to the UT Board of Regents urging them to comply with both President Trump's executive order banning gender ideology on campuses which receive federal funding. The A&M System recently banned such performances to be in compliance with the new order. However, as O'Hare notes, UT-Arlington recently held a drag show on campus, in violation of the order. Not only does this run afoul of President Trump's order, but Abbott's as well - who recently demanded that our campuses comply with the order. We extend our thanks to County Judge O'Hare for his leadership and request that you do the same. Our mission is to make Tarrant County the Republican bastion for generations, to save Texas and our nation. This could never be done without a strong leader in our County Judge, who is willing to demonstrate courage when so few elected officials will. You can read the full statement by clicking HERE.
