Today marks 14 years since the start of the brutal conflict in Syria. 14 years of fighting have taken an immense toll on children – destroying their homes, schools and safety. Please, urge Congress to protect them. [[link removed]]
SPEAK UP FOR SYRIA [[link removed]]
Hi John ,
Violence has followed Adnan* for his entire life.
Before the former Syrian government fell in December, his family fled to a schoolyard-turned-shelter. When it rains, cold water seeps into their tent. During winter, icy wind cuts through its seams.
“We wake up to nothing,” 13-year-old Adnan says solemnly. “No breakfast, no games, no place to call our own.”
But there’s one thing he longs for most. “When I saw this school,” Adnan confides, “I cried because it reminded me of the one I lost.”
2.4 million kids like him have been robbed of their education. As renewed fighting escalates and humanitarian needs skyrocket, their futures slip further away.
John, a humanitarian crisis is ravaging Syria. On this grim anniversary, will you speak up for children? [[link removed]]

14 years of brutal violence completely dismantled Syria’s infrastructure – one razed hospital, abandoned school and crippled water system at a time.
7.5 million children are in desperate need of humanitarian aid… and yet they still dare to dream of brighter days.
“School is the most beautiful thing in my life,” Adnan reminisces. “I miss my teachers, the way they encouraged us [and] made learning fun.”
Memories are all that remains of Adnan’s cherished education. Please, urge Congress to give him a second chance at childhood. [[link removed]]
Thank you for protecting the world’s most vulnerable children,
