Hi, it’s Shannon Taylor. I’m running to be Virginia’s next Attorney General.

State and local prosecutors are at the forefront of the fight for your rights during Trump’s second term in office. Virginia is one of the few places to hold an election in November, and it’s our first opportunity to take action.

As you read this, Republican legislators are passing legislation to punish women for seeking healthcare – some of which even carries the threat of jail time.

We need an experienced prosecutor as our next Attorney General, one who’s sworn to uphold justice and NEVER prosecute a woman for seeking an abortion – or a doctor who provides one.

As Commonwealth’s Attorney, I face our greatest challenges head-on. I’ve never shied away from prosecuting hate crimes, using effective measures to reduce gun violence, and using the fullest extent of my authority to protect your rights.
