Our country is being torn apart by systemic racism and violence that led to yet another death of an unarmed Black American, George Floyd. In times like these, we expect our leaders to help unite us, heal our wounds, and move forward.

But apparently, that's asking too much. As people took to the streets demanding justice on Sunday night, Donald Trump sheltered in a bunker and turned the White House lights off.

And then, yesterday, tear gas and flash grenades were used on peaceful protesters so Trump could clear a path to a church for a photo op holding a bible.

You might be wondering, "where has Devin Nunes been throughout all of this?" The answer: nowhere to be found.

He's silent even as his own community drew thousands of peaceful protesters mourning George Floyd's death. We deserve better out of our leaders. If you agree, sign our petition demanding that Devin Nunes address George Floyd's death and hear the concerns of the Black community:

Nunes must speak out >> [link removed]

Our country is at a breaking point, we must do better for the Black community -- they deserve justice, respect, and safety.

Black Lives Matter.

Sincerely,

Phil
