It’s time for change, John.

Progressive champions and Congresswomen Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar
(D-MN), Karen Bass (D-CA), and Barbara Lee (D-CA) have introduced a
resolution calling for an end to police brutality in the United States.
Their resolution calls for a number of serious reforms, including:

* Expanded independent oversight to hold law enforcement accountable
* Establishment of civilian review boards with the authority to
investigate police misconduct
* Adoption of unbiased law enforcement policies at every level of
government
* For the Department of Justice to reassert its authority to investigate
misconduct and police brutality across the country.

Every single member of Congress should endorse these reforms immediately,
and Congresswomen Pressley, Omar, Bass and Lee need our voices in this
fight to make it happen.
