Just 53 days into his presidency, here's what Donald Trump has done so far:

He’s given billionaire Elon Musk & DOGE unchecked access to federal government systems.
He threatened to WITHHOLD federal funding from states that don’t fall in line with his personal demands.
He pardoned over 1,500 people charged in the Jan. 6 attacks.
He’s started dismantling the Department of Education.

Fortunately, Democratic governors have already proven that they can and will serve as the last line of defense, protecting our fundamental freedoms from extremist attacks: JB Pritzker refused to “bend the knee” to Trump, Janet Mills told Trump she’ll see him in court after he threatened her state, Kathy Hochul reminded everyone that “Donald Trump is not a king”, and so many more.
